I locked myself out, so how do I get back into my house without damaging the door?
We come to your location and use non-destructive entry methods whenever possible: lock picks or manipulating the cylinder. If the cylinder is seized or damaged we can remove it and gain access with controlled intervention. We carry replacement cylinders and can rekey or fit a new lock on site if needed.
Can you rekey the locks after I move into a new house so old keys won't work?
We rekey most standard pin-and-tumbler cylinders on site: we remove the cylinder, change the pin stack to match a new key, and test operation. If the hardware is worn or a higher-security solution is wanted, we can install new cylinders or a different keyed-alike setup. We’ve been doing on-site residential work for over 13 years.
My deadbolt sticks and won't turn smoothly, can you fix that or does it need replacing?
We start by diagnosing: stickiness can come from a misaligned strike plate, a worn tailpiece, a failing cylinder, or debris. We disassemble the bolt, lubricate or replace the cylinder, square up the strike, and test. If parts are beyond serviceable condition, we replace the cylinder or deadbolt and verify smooth, secure operation on site.
