Can you change the locks when I move into a new house so former tenants can't get in?
We can replace the lock cylinders, knobsets and deadbolts on-site so previous keys no longer work. We carry common cylinder profiles and new hardware, fit new strike plates if needed, cut and supply keys, and test each lock and latch in the door frame before we leave to ensure smooth operation.
My deadbolt sticks and the key won't turn smoothly. Can you fix it or do I need a new lock?
We inspect the cylinder, bolt and strike to find binding or worn parts. Sometimes a cleaning, lubrication and strike adjustment restores operation; other times the cylinder or bolt is mechanically worn and we swap in a fresh cylinder or bolt assembly. We test the repair with multiple keys and make sure the door aligns properly.
I want a better lock on my patio sliding door. What options do you offer?
We install keyed patio locks, surface-mounted auxiliary locks, foot bolts and anti-lift devices, plus adjustable security bars that brace the track. We can also reinforce the door’s strike and latch point. Each option is fitted at the door, tested for smooth opening and secure locking, and we’ll explain how each works before we finish.
