The buildings and the hardware
The built environment in and around Whitemarsh Township affects the hardware we use. Many single-family houses and townhouses still have older wooden doors and mortise or rim locks, which means we often deal with worn faceplates, long screws needed for proper strike anchoring, and loose doorstops that change alignment. Newer multiunit buildings and storefronts tend toward cylindrical locks, commercial-grade deadbolts, and metal doors that need different fasteners and reinforced frames. That mix means we carry a range of cylinders, mortise parts, reinforced strike plates, and trim pieces, and we choose hardware to match both the door thickness and the existing backset.
