My front door lock is stiff and the key won’t turn smoothly, can you fix it?
Yes. We inspect the cylinder, key, and strike to identify wear, debris, or misalignment. If the cylinder can be serviced, we lubricate, clean, and adjust components. For worn pins or a damaged lock we’ll replace the cylinder or the whole lock with compatible hardware, and we can cut a new key on site if needed.
I just moved into a house in Douglass Township, can you change the locks or rekey them so the old keys won’t work?
We can rekey most residential locks by changing the pin configuration in the cylinder so previous keys no longer work. If the locks are damaged, we can replace cylinders or entire locks and set them keyed alike or on a master-key setup. We carry common cylinders and keys to handle the job at your property.
I want a keypad or smart lock on my back door, so do you install them and will they work with my existing deadbolt?
We install most keypad and retrofit smart locks that fit standard deadbolts or replace the deadbolt with a compatible unit. We check door thickness, backset, and existing strike before installing. We’ll mount the device, program codes, and demonstrate operation; if your deadbolt isn’t compatible, we’ll recommend suitable models.
