What goes wrong
Locks fail in a handful of predictable ways. A key can shear in a cylinder, leaving the plug jammed and tumblers packed with metal; a deadbolt can bind because the door has shifted or the strike plate has loosened; a latch can strip so the knob turns without engaging. We handle those calls across Warwick Township and the surrounding area. When someone calls with an emergency we explain what we can do on the phone, then drive out from Havertown with the tools and parts that match common residential and commercial hardware.

What the job involves
On site we start with a quick, focused inspection to find what actually failed: broken key fragments, a seized cylinder, worn pins, a crushed faceplate, or a half-turned cam. We have picks, plug followers, extractor bits, drill and reamer setups for when extraction is the only option, and portable key-cutting gear for replacements. If a lock is beyond repair we remove the cylinder or whole lock, fit a compatible unit with the same backset and door prep, and square up the strike where the bolt meets the jamb.

Good to know
While we’re en route customers should secure the area if they can: move children and pets away from the door, don’t force the lock or keep trying improvised tools that can push fragments deeper, and locate any proof of ownership or identification so paperwork can be completed. If the door is damaged hold it closed with temporary measures rather than propping it open. A clear walk to the door and a mobile phone line open for our call helps us get straight to work when we arrive in Warwick Township.

Worth knowing
Have these things ready when we get there: a photo ID and something that shows you live or work at the property, any existing keys you still have, and the make or model of the lock if you know it (for example a thumbturn deadbolt, an inset mortise lock, or a cylindrical knob set). For vehicle lockouts bring vehicle title or registration and the keys you have. We’ll describe the replacement parts we use in plain terms (cylinder, bolt, strike plate, keyed tailpiece) and explain what we do to restore secure operation.
