What goes wrong
We work on the kinds of commercial failures that stop a workplace cold: worn cylinders that turn loosely, mortise locks that jam, exit devices with broken latches, panic bars that no longer retract, door closers that slam or will not hold, and strikes ripped or bent from repeated impact. In East Nantmeal Township we see failures from corrosion, misaligned doors, or vandalism. We inspect the door, the frame, and the lockset to find whether the problem is mechanical wear, damaged parts, or poor adjustment, then explain the options in plain terms.

What the job involves
When we arrive we strip trim and pull the cylinder or remove the exit device to see what is broken, test springs and latches, and measure parts for replacement. We handle rekeys and keyed-alike changes, install or replace panic bars and reinforced strikes, adjust or replace door closers, and work with access control hardware and keypad and card readers as needed. We drive out from Havertown and keep the work area clear while we operate heavy tools and use cutting and drilling equipment.

Good to know
While we work, secure any confidential documents and keep employees away from the door swing. If a door is being removed or an exit device taken apart, post a notice at nearby entrances so people know which doors to use instead. Assign one point of contact who has authority to approve work and who can show us which keys are current, which doors must remain on a master key, and which areas are off-limits during repairs. We explain what we are doing so you can update staff.

Worth knowing
Have the building key list, any existing key codes or access logs, and photos or serials of the failing hardware ready before we begin. If you can, gather spare cylinders, cards, or sample keys so we can match profiles on site; if not, a clear photo of the lockface and strike helps. Tell us who to call for access and where spare keys are kept. We serve commercial properties across Chester County, including work near Warwick Township, and we bring the tools and replacement parts we commonly use.
