What goes wrong
We handle the kinds of commercial lock problems that shut a door or slow an operation: broken keys stuck in cylinders, mortise bolts that bind, panic bars that fail to retract, and latches that miss a strike because the door has sagged. We drive out from Havertown and work wherever the lock is, not at a counter. When you call we tell you how soon we can get out and what to expect on arrival. In Wallace Township we regularly replace worn cylinders, swap out threaded trim, and repair door closers so doors latch reliably.

What the job involves
A commercial job often means working on heavy-duty hardware: exit devices and panic bars with long throw bolts, reinforced strikes set into steel frames, surface or concealed vertical rods, electric strikes and mag locks fed from building power, keypads and card readers, and master keying systems. We test the mechanical parts, check the strike alignment, inspect the lever trim for wear, and trace wiring on electrified devices. If a keypad or controller is involved we confirm battery and power connections before altering keying or codes.

Good to know
While you wait, please keep the area clear for our van and for access to the door, post staff to use an alternate entrance if one exists, and secure any tenants or customers away from the work zone. Have a copy of building ownership or management authorization and a list of doors or units affected ready; for master key work bring existing keys and any door numbers. If the hardware is electrified, make sure someone can access the circuit or tell us whether power is on to that device. We work through the issue with you on site.

Worth knowing
For planned changes we can set up rekeying or staged master key systems that simplify daily access without replacing every lock. We stock common commercial cylinders and can cut and code keys from our van, swap out thumbturns and cores, and fit new strikes or closers to suit the door and frame. We also handle access-control programming and keypad code changes when requested. If you have a job in or around Wallace Township or nearby townships such as Upper Uwchlan Township, tell us which doors and we’ll explain what tools and parts we’ll bring.
