I locked my keys in the car, so can you get me back in without damaging the lock?
We use non-destructive entry methods whenever the vehicle allows: inflatable wedges, long-reach tools, and vehicle-specific entry tools to manipulate the lock or latch. If a door or window is risky, we’ll explain options and proceed to minimize damage. Tiger Locksmith is a mobile locksmith, so the work happens where the car is.
My key fob isn't unlocking the doors, but I have the physical key, so can you still open it?
Yes. If the mechanical key blade works, we’ll use it or standard lock-picking techniques appropriate to the cylinder. For cars with concealed cylinders or electronic systems, we carry tools to access the lock without cutting or damaging trim. If the fob needs attention after entry, we can describe next steps for key or fob service.
I left the engine running and the car locked, can you retrieve the keys and make the car secure?
We can retrieve keys using long-reach tools or entry methods suited to your vehicle, taking care around gear selectors and electronics. Once inside we can secure the vehicle and, if the ignition or key is damaged, advise on replacement or extraction. We’ll work on-site (every job happens where the lock is) and explain what we’re doing.
