What the job involves
When we arrive we work where the car is and use non-destructive entry techniques whenever possible. That means wedges and long-reach tools to manipulate interior lock levers, and picks for exposed tumblers. For broken keys we use extraction tools to remove metal fragments from doors or ignitions. If a door won’t open by mechanical means we can access trunks or hatch releases through factory access panels when the vehicle allows it, keeping damage to a minimum.

Good to know
While you wait it helps to stand near the vehicle and have the proof of ownership ready, such as the registration or the title, and a photo ID. Tell us about the vehicle: year, make, model, and whether the car has a manual lock or power locks, and whether the key is a blade, a shank with a remote, or only a keyless fob. If a key is broken, note whether any metal piece is visible in the lock. Those details let us bring the right tools from Havertown and diagnose the best way to open the car.

Worth knowing
We drive out from Havertown and do all work on site across Montgomery County, including West Norriton Township and nearby towns such as King of Prussia or Norristown when needed. There is no shop to visit; every job happens at the vehicle. We will tell you how soon we can come when you call and answer any questions about the method we plan to use. If the lock or ignition is badly damaged we’ll explain the options before we proceed.
