What goes wrong
Commercial properties call us when a cylinder sticks, a deadbolt spins on a stripped tailpiece, an exit device jams, or an electronic keypad stops recognizing codes. We see rim and mortise locks with worn keyways, panic bars with bent linkages, door closers that no longer hold a door open or shut cleanly, and strikes ripped out of rotten jambs. In West Fallowfield Township we also respond to problems with card readers failing to communicate, battery-powered locks that have died, and master key cores that have been improperly pinned and now key badly or not at all.

What the job involves
On site we diagnose the failure and explain the repair options in plain terms. That can mean rekeying a cylinder, swapping a worn mortise for a new lock body, replacing an exit device or panic bar, installing a reinforced strike or faceplate, or running new wiring and mounting a control board for access control or a keypad. We carry common parts and a range of cylinders and replacement hardware, and we drive out from Havertown. When you call we’ll tell you how soon we can come.

Good to know
While you wait, secure the work area and keep staff and customers away from the door or corridor involved. If the problem is with an entry system, have a staff member who knows the current codes or card numbering ready to stand by. For exterior doors, make sure any temporary barricade or alternate entrance is safe and unlocked so employees can get in and out. If you use an alarm, let us know whether it should be disarmed for the job and who will handle that at the building.

Worth knowing
Have commercial paperwork ready: proof that you are authorized to approve work on the property, any existing key lists or key codes, and photos or notes about the door and hardware model if possible. Tell us whether you need master-keying or a keyed-alike setup, which doors must remain secure while we work, and the contact details for your property manager. We serve customers across Chester County including West Fallowfield Township and nearby towns such as Atglen, and we keep the conversation focused on the hardware and how we’ll fix it.
