What goes wrong
Commercial doors in Wayne and nearby buildings fail in predictable ways: cylinders shear, latchbolts twist, exit devices get worn where hands push most, and keypads stop responding when batteries corrode. We work on deadbolts, exit devices, panic bars, door closers, reinforced strikes and mechanical or electronic cores. When an entry system has been tampered with we trace the damage back to the part that failed and plan the least invasive repair that restores secure operation. We also handle rekeying and new cores for suites and storefronts.

What the job involves
We operate as a mobile locksmith and drive out from Havertown with a stock of common parts and replacement cores. First we confirm which doors are affected and whether the hardware is surface mounted, mortised, or part of a multipoint lock, then we inspect the cylinder, tailpiece and latch geometry. We tell callers plainly how soon we can get there, and while we’re on site we measure rail lengths, check strike reinforcement and verify that trim and levers operate freely before fitting new parts.

Good to know
While you wait, put a responsible employee by the affected door and control pedestrian flow; for swing doors prop the inactive leaf correctly if there is one. Have on hand company ID or written authorization, keys or keycards that belong to the system, and the name and number of the building contact or property manager. If there’s an access-control panel, note serial numbers and any recent change history. If a master key system is involved point out which keys are known to work and which doors are supposed to be on which key.

Worth knowing
We also carry and adjust door closers, replace batteries and modules in keypads, and install or repair strikes and surface-mount hardware for storefronts and offices. Preventive maintenance (lubricating cylinders, tightening loose trim, adjusting latch alignment) keeps a commercial door working longer and cuts down on emergency calls. We service businesses across Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County and Philadelphia, and if you call we’ll tell you plainly how soon we can come and what you should have ready when we arrive.
