What goes wrong
We handle commercial lockouts and damaged hardware for offices and storefronts in Broomall and nearby towns. We see broken cylinders, snapped keys, jammed mortise locks, worn latchwork and doors that no longer latch because the strike or faceplate has pulled away. We carry replacement cylinders, mortise parts, heavy-duty deadbolts, reinforced strikes and tubular latch assemblies. When a lock is damaged we assess whether the cylinder can be removed intact, whether the bolt is binding, and whether the strike needs repositioning or a longer-throw deadbolt to restore secure function.

What the job involves
We install and repair exit devices and panic bars on single and double doors, and we adjust overhead door closers so the door latches cleanly into the strike. We can retrofit an existing door with a reinforced strike or replace a latch and keep the existing trim when that’s possible. For storefronts we check glass-door pulls, lever return springs and the alignment of transom and floor plates. When work requires cutting and fitting a new strike or reinforcing plates, we bring the metal and tools to do that on site.

Good to know
We work on mechanical and electromechanical access control, from keypad and card readers to electrically operated strikes and magnetic locks. We test wiring, power supplies and fail-safe versus fail-secure arrangements and make sure the lock releases properly when power is removed or when an exit device is used. We can rekey padlocks, lockers and suites into a master key system or add a sub-master to simplify management. If you have an access control problem, have your current keycards or codes, the door number and any power supply notes ready when you call so we can diagnose efficiently when we arrive from Havertown.

Worth knowing
While waiting for us, secure the area and, if possible, isolate the affected door so staff know which entrances remain in service. Gather building keys, keycards and any lock documentation you have; if you can identify the lock type on the door (cylinder, mortise, rim or magnetic) that helps. For doors with multiple users, appoint one contact who can show us signage, schematics or where power and control panels are located. We work quietly around your business hours and coordinate with building staff to minimize interruption to customers and employees.
