The buildings and the hardware
The buildings here tend to mix older rowhouses with multiunit apartment conversions and some street-level businesses, and that changes the hardware we see. Expect mortise locks on older wooden doors, cylindrical deadbolts added later, and sometimes outdated surface-mounted hardware that needs heavier-duty replacement. Apartment buildings often have mailbox locks, master-key systems, and fire-door hardware requiring careful coordination; standalone houses usually get full-deadbolt installs and reinforced doorjambs. That variety means we bring a broad stock of cylinders, deadbolts, mortise parts, and trim so we can match existing hardware or upgrade to more secure, durable components on the spot.
