My deadbolt sticks in cold weather and the key is hard to turn, can you fix it?
We inspect the bolt, cylinder, and strike to find binding points. Often the problem is swollen wood, misaligned strike, or a worn cylinder. We’ll lubricate with an appropriate dry lubricant, adjust the strike or door fit, and repair or replace worn cylinder parts on site so the lock operates smoothly again.
I bought an older house with old mortise locks on the doors, so can you repair or replace them?
We assess the lock body, lever mechanism, faceplate, and keyway to determine whether parts are available or the case needs replacement. Where possible we repair and fit new levers, springs, or cylinders; if replacement is better, we install a compatible mortise lock or a modern deadbolt while preserving the door’s function and appearance.
I just moved in, so can you rekey every lock and set up a master key system?
We can rekey individual cylinders so one key operates all the selected locks, or we can create a hierarchical master key system for keyed-alike and master-keyed access. We inspect existing cylinders and hardware first, then rekey or replace cylinders as needed, and label keys so you know which opens each grouping.
