What goes wrong
We work on commercial doors the way a contractor would: diagnosing what actually fails and replacing the part that fails. We encounter jammed exit devices with worn cams, panic bars that no longer retract the latch, door closers that have lost their hydraulic damping, and strikes that have been pulled out of the frame. We carry and install whole latches, reinforced strikes, heavy-duty mortise cylinders, keypad mounts, and surface-mounted electric strikes. When you call from Tredyffrin Township we’ll tell you how soon we can get there and we drive out from Havertown with the tools and parts we expect to need.

What the job involves
If a lockout or broken device leaves an entry uncontrolled, we secure the door with a temporary latch or a metal plate and then fit the permanent fix. For access control failures we trace the wiring, test the power supply and the reader, and swap the relay or power module if that’s the fault. For master key systems we will rekey cylinders or install new cores and label them so each key works where it should. In Paoli or Chesterbrook we follow the same hands-on approach: figure the failure, secure the opening, replace the failed hardware.

Good to know
While we’re on our way, the most useful things you can do are gather the building keys you have, note the door type and strike condition, and identify which entrances must remain secure during business hours. If there’s a keypad or card reader, testing the device with a working credential or the door schedule helps narrow the problem. For interior suite doors have the suite number and the tenant’s name ready; for loading doors tell us whether there’s an overhead operator or surface-mounted hardware. This makes our work more efficient once we arrive.

Worth knowing
We handle commercial installs and service across common property types in Tredyffrin Township and the surrounding towns: office suites, retail storefronts, small warehouses, and medical practices. We fit exit devices, panic bars, door closers, electric strikes, keypad access, and master key systems; we also reinforce frames and replace cylinders on metal doors. We don’t meet customers at a shop (every job happens where the lock is), so be ready to show us the door, hand over keys or access codes, and point out any previous repairs or makeshift fixes you want replaced.
