What goes wrong
We handle commercial door hardware that fails under real use: exit devices that stick, panic bars with worn linkages, mortise locks with broken tails, rim cylinders that spin, and electric strikes that won’t latch. We repair and replace exit devices, panic bars, door closers, reinforced strikes, keypads and standalone access control panels. In Thornbury Township businesses call us when keys stop working, doors bind, or an electric latch won’t release. We describe what’s wrong in plain terms and show you the failed parts so you can see why the lock didn’t do its job.

What the job involves
We work on-site, diagnosing the mechanism and choosing whether to repair or replace parts. We remove cylinders and core assemblies for rekeying, fit replacement deadbolts and lever sets, cut and code keys to match existing masters, and re-align strike plates and keepers so the bolt has full engagement. We install and wire electric strikes or power transfers for access control, and we adjust door closers for smooth, secure closing. We drive out from Havertown in our fully equipped van and bring the tools and spares a commercial job usually requires.

Good to know
While we are en route, secure the area as best you can and keep customers and staff away from the affected doorway. Locate any keys, serial numbers, existing key cards or access control manuals and have whoever can authorize changes available by phone. If the door is part of a delayed egress or tied into an alarm panel let us know so we can work with your alarm provider or manager. We will tell you what we need straightaway and explain the steps once we can see the hardware.

Worth knowing
Have photos of the door edge, lock face, strike, and any wiring ready when you call; images of the old key or the core code are especially useful. Note the type of door: hollow metal, wood, aluminum, and whether there is a mullion, centerpost, or reinforcement. If you use a master key system, gather any keying notes or labels so we can match cores correctly. We do all of our work at the lock; there is no shop to visit, so we bring parts and tools to the site and get the hardware working where it sits, whether that’s in Thornbury Township, West Chester, or nearby.
