What goes wrong
We work on commercial doors and hardware you see every day in storefronts, offices and warehouses: mortise locks, cylindrical deadbolts, exit devices and panic bars, heavy-duty door closers, electric strikes and surface-mounted closers. Typical failures are a jammed latch, a split cylinder, an exit device that won't retract, or a door closer that no longer controls the swing. We assess what’s actually broken, whether the strike is pulling out, the latch face is mushroomed, or the cylinder tailpiece is sheared, then suggest repair or replacement with the physical hardware in mind.

What the job involves
We handle master key systems and rekeying when keys are lost, when staff turnover happens, or when cylinders are worn. We cut and pin cylinders on site if the existing lock will accept the cylinder we need, or we install a new cylinder or mortise lock where required. With access control, we diagnose wiring and power issues, replace worn keypads or readers, and swap out electric strikes or maglocks. If a keypad or reader loses memory we can restore or replace modules and program new credentials.

Good to know
When you call, we tell you straightaway how soon we can come from our base in Havertown; that way you know whether to wait at the door or to secure operations another way. While you wait, clear the work area, have a staff member available to authorize work and open any inner doors we’ll need to reach the hardware. If an exterior door is stuck, keep it clear of customers and post staff to direct traffic. We won’t ask you to meet us somewhere else; we work where the lock is.

Worth knowing
To speed the job, have any existing keys, the building manager or property contact, and photos of the damaged hardware ready on your phone before we arrive. If you have locksets with serial tags or a master key chart, have that available too; if not, we’ll create a new keying plan and label cores or cylinders as we work. In Honey Brook and surrounding townships we arrive in a vehicle stocked with common cylinders, strikes, screws, and replacement trim so we can complete straightforward repairs without running back and forth.
