The buildings and the hardware
The housing stock in Upper Chichester Township tends to mix older doors and newer replacements, and that shows up in the hardware we install. Older wooden doors often use mortise or rim locks that need different cylinders and longer screws to secure strike plates; many newer exterior doors have bored cylindrical locks or multi-point latch systems. Apartments and small multi-family buildings usually have keyed entrances with metal frames and sometimes shared mailbox banks, which means we spend time fitting SARGENT-style cylinders or swapping cores for tenant changes. Storefronts and commercial entries bring heavier hardware: commercial grade latches, exit devices and reinforced strikes.
