What goes wrong
Commercial doors in Linwood and across Delaware County show the same wear patterns: cylinder pins smeared from old keys, broken tailpieces that stop a deadbolt from turning, and latch faces carved out where repeated slamming has shifted the door. We replace or rekey cylinders, install new cores, and fit reinforced strikes where the jamb has been chewed. For storefronts we commonly rebuild exit devices, replace broken bars, and adjust door closers so the latch aligns cleanly. When you call we tell you how soon we can come and then drive out from Havertown to the job.

What the job involves
Access control problems arrive as burnt-out keypads, stuck electric strikes, or wiring chewed by rodents. We trace the wiring, test the reader, and swap the strike or relay that isn’t pulling in. For maglocks we check the door gap, surface mount and backing plate, and adjust the armature plate so the lock seats fully. If you have networked hardware, have the IP, switch, and any admin credentials available if you want us to interface with your system; otherwise we work at the hardware level to restore entry.
03
Good to know
Master key systems get messy after years of hand-keyed changes: pinning gets sloppy, keyways wear, and unauthorized duplicate keys turn up. We rekey cores, set new master schedules on pinned cylinders, and replace cores that are too worn to trust. For warehouses and service doors we consider long-throw deadbolts and hardened strike plates, for hollow metal doors we use through-bolted reinforced plates. If you expect us to work while you’re on site, clear the immediate area by the door and have someone who can authorize the work ready to sign off.

Worth knowing
While we work, customers often keep operations running by routing staff through alternate doors or posting a temporary sign on the affected entrance. Before we arrive have any existing keys, keycards, or an access-control list ready so we can match cylinders or program readers without guessing. If you have specific cores or proprietary keys, tell us when you call; if you need a new keying scheme, be prepared to describe which doors should share a key and which need unique control. We handle commercial lockwork in Linwood, and in Boothwyn and Trainer when needed, and focus on getting the hardware to operate reliably.
