I locked my keys inside my car with the engine off, so can you get them out without damaging the door?
We start by identifying the lock and door construction: plated latch, hollow-core door, rubber seals. We work at the seam and around the weatherstripping, using methods that protect paint and trim. If the lock mechanism is fragile we avoid aggressive force and, only if necessary, remove interior trim carefully to reach the keys without leaving visible damage.
My key snapped in the ignition, so can you remove the broken piece and get me driving again?
We inspect the ignition cylinder and the exposed portion of the broken key, then extract fragments with tools suited to the key profile and cylinder geometry. If the cylinder is scored or binding, we discuss removing and replacing the cylinder. We take care not to damage shift interlocks, ignition housing, or surrounding steering-column trim during the work.
My car uses push-button start and the fob won’t unlock the doors, what can you do?
We check the fob for a mechanical key hidden inside, test its battery, and try the vehicle’s manual entry points. Some vehicles allow door access at the seam without harming trim; others need the fob reprogrammed. We explain options specific to the vehicle and, when possible, provide on-site key programming or secure access solutions.
